On Tuesday, June 11, 2019, a motorcyclist died from a collision ocurring in Brownsburg. First responders arrived at the scene of the intersection of Northfield Drive and North Green Street shortly after 7 p.m.  At the scene they found several bystanders attempting CPR on the unconscious driver of the motorcycle.  However, he was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision, due in part to traumatic injuries sustained in the collision.  First responder officials stated that the driver of an SUV collided with the motorcycle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators from the Brownsburg Police Department.  The collision resulted in long traffic jams, which backed up traffic for nearly two hours at the heavily traveled intersection, closing all directions as the investigation of the collision continued.

Summer is here and that means more bicycles and motorcycles on the road. Motorcycles are fast and not as big as most vehicles, making it occasionally difficult to see and react to them. Please be alert during these warmer months of motorcycles and share the road with bicyclists. If you or someone you know was injured or died in an accident while operating a motorcycle, through no fault of their own, please contact the experienced legal team at Schiller Law Offices at 888-578-3100 or at IndyInjured.com to learn more about your potential right to compensation.
