On the morning of May 3rd, a teenaged boy was loading donate food items into a trunk of a car when an 84-year-old women hit him with her car. The older woman driving the car was pulling into a line of waiting vehicles at a fast-food drive-thru when her Jeep Liberty failed to stop. Her car crashed into the back of the Ford Escape that the teenage boy was loading the donated food items into when she struck him with her vehicle. The boy was pinned between the two vehicles until help arrived. Luckily, the boy’s parents were there helping as well and were able to call for help immediately. The Noble County Prosecutor’s Office is still determining if charges will be filed and the crash is still under investigation.
